Once a CSV download from ebay has been converted to Excel, is there anyway to open it as a CSV file again? I missed downloading a month of sales (May), but I have a download in July that is as May to July. When I first opened it, instead of it going straight to Excel, the box that allows you to determine where to separate the columns came up. I clicked through it and got all the results in one column instead of in their own column. I don't remember exactly what I did after that, but eventually I got the file to what I wanted with each field in its own column, but I only get July info. The May and June stuff is not showing up. I am 99.9% certain I saw more than just July when it was the CSV file, but I can't get back to that the original file/box to see. Am I out of luck?
TIA.

If you downloaded it as a CSV file, it will stay as a CSV file even tho you opened it with Excel. It won't become an Excel file unless you do a Save As and change the file format to an Excel format. When you look at the CSV file, it may look like an Excel file but that's because Excel is the default program used to open it (which is pretty much the only way to open it if you want to be able to read anything).

When I look at the info from File Explorer, it does show Microsoft Excel as the type, but it also shows last modified as July 13. I would think it would show today's date if I had done a Save As on it today, after I got the box to do the delineating (or whatever it's called).

Well, color me embarrassed--there were two files! For some reason they have different types of names so I completely overlooked the second file ("ebay-OrdersReport...") because I thought I had the right file name ("FileExchange_Response...").
