I'm doing All The Things but sales are like molasses. I know I need to change my stock around (too much winter, too much vintage/vintage winter) but I've been diligently listing new in-season items. It started right after Posh started collecting sales tax. Any suggestions for wiser, more experienced Poshers? This is supposed to be my retirement job (retiring in a month or two) and I need to keep things ticking along at least on a part-time basis.

I am no help. But I wonder if it has to do with them opening up for home goods? A software adjustment that slowed things down?
This is the slow time of year IMO, so it may be that as well.

Yes, could be time of year, but it slowed down just after the tax was rolled out, about four weeks ago, so well before the home market started (and OMG, the CRAP on that poor site now!). Before then I had regular sales. I've only been doing it for about 8 months so I'm not sure if there's a big summer slow down or what. I'm going to double my sharing and see if that helps!

It's been pretty slow for me too, as has eBay. I think it's just the time of year, summer has always been slow for me no matter what.

Had a slow week, but now it's back to its normal. There is always an element of randomness. Just keep self-sharing, it's the MOST important part. Kind of like promoted listings on ebay, but self-made and free.

I did sink down on that, from 18,000/mo to 8,000/mo (I'd been ill). I'm pumping that up again and also shares from the feed, though it used to be easier with the old gallery arrangement!
Well, I'll just keep on keeping on, then!

Sales are slow everywhere for me. I haven't been sharing as I should and need to set myself some kind of schedule or sharing/following etc gets left undone.
There's still plenty of lowballer's on Posh tho. Just had a $5 offer on a $12 Lucky belt I listed a few days ago. Not even gonna counter offer with that one!

I had an $8 offer on a $19 dress which I had put on sale from $23. On eBay someone offered me about a 40% discount on two items (with no BO) then brightly said on the second email "you could combine shipping to save money so $5.50 shipping for both items" - ugh, both items together will cost more like $9 to ship. I countered on the Posh one (won't hear back of course) and graciously declined the offers on the other two - they both have multiple watchers and aren't the kind of thing where there are other of the same on the site.

I finally figured out what was happening. When I share to a party, this desktop moves several of the items to the bundles of people who already have bundles sitting there, or to new people. It doesn't happen on my cell.
So now after I share to a party, I have to go into the bundles and delete those items. grrrr

Off the cliff and down the river. I’ve been there a few years and this is the slowest I’ve ever seen. I question if the constant CCOs are turning people away from Poshmark. They used to be an enticement for buyers, now it’s an every other day event bombarding them with notifications from desperate sellers.

They used to be an enticement for buyers, now it’s an every other day event bombarding them with notifications from desperate sellers. They are way WAY carried away with the CCO and OTL specials - I wonder if Posh is trying to gin up the numbers for the IPO this fall? It's ridiculous. I'm only a fairly new user and even I can see that. It seems to be more often than even last Sept/Oct when I started. I really need to get this stuff sold and gone before the IPO because if my experience serves, it'll pretty much tank the site save for gimmicks to keep the shareholders happy.

CCO? OTL? (I'm a little slow!)
And I've only had two sales on PM since I started. I have over 10K followers so I feel like I have been working that part of it, but I only share once per day usually so I am pledging to increase that, except for the three days per week that I am watching the DGK's during the summer. Last week we were on vacation so I did NOTHING.

CCO = closet clean out. Don't know the other ones. I did have some Posh sales last week. But what is weird, I checked my eBay promotions, and for the last couple of weeks, my 1600+ items were only getting 50 views a day. That has never happened before. So I guess it is slow everywhere?

I've really been leaning on the sharing and listing, and my sales have gone up again a BIT on Posh - but due to the tax and increase in shipping, the prices are going down. I put stuff on Posh I'm willing to just get rid of - i.e., my vintage from Etsy has been slowly selling (it goes nowhere on Etsy - I've had 6 sales there in the last 30 days and that was a banner month!), so it's all good.
eBay is steady, but I haven't listed in a week and sales have dried up on top of it being the weekend of the 4th.

3 Posh + 1 eBay to go out today.
One of the Posh was on eBay for three months. Crosslisted to Posh and it sold in a couple of days. It had two watchers on eBay and I didn't send any offers to watchers on eBay. Maybe it would have sold if I had done all the eBay things. It's a hard hustle to sell on the internet these days.

If Posh comes up with FC shipping, I'm sure sales will pick up for everyone. There are lots of lightweight things I would buy, but $6.79 shipping is too much. I only check Posh if I'm looking for something heavier to justify shipping.
