I can't find the answer to this anywhere - it may be really obvious but I'm not seeing it. I'm having problems having two categories showing: Bags and jewellery. I often share by category as it kind of makes it less boring, and I have to actually go through all of my listings to find bags and jewellery because it doesn't appear as a category in the left side drill down. All I get beyond the usual separates is this:
Women --->accessories--->scarves and wraps.
That's it. However, when I hit 'accessories' - I get scarves and wraps as well as hats and belts.
I know bags and jewellery each have their own categories, and I do list them under this correct category, but it doesn't show up on the side bar drill down - there are no categories for either.
The same with jeans. I listed a pair of Chico's under 'jeans' but never had a 'jeans' category under 'women' - I finally put them in with pants because they weren't getting seen.
What am I missing or doing wrong?

That's odd. My jeans category is there but my "bags" is gone. Maybe a glitch? If it stays this way for another day or so, I'll get in touch with Customer service.

I don't have any bags listed, but my jewelry doesn't show up under accessories, either.
I do have a pants and a jeans category.
Poshmark has been glitchy-yesterday I couldn't get to the "sell an item" area since it just kept coming up to a sign-in app page.
That finally started to work, but now when I hit to list an item, a facebook pop-up appears to list the item on facebook. I haven't listed anything on fb for 3 years. So I think that fb is messing with the site.
On the fb posh groups, other people are having the same problems.

This category problem has been ongoing for me, but at least I'm not the only one. OK - I'll watch it and hope that it's just a glitch (a long glitch for me!).

I've had that problem with Mercari before - it's frustrating. The phone app continued to work. You might try opening the phone app and see if Mercari opens for you, too. I have problem with the Posh web app and mobile app 'disconnecting' and that fixes it.

I just noticed I'm missing a few other categories, such as kids footwear and dresses, and men's accessories. My Poshmark phone app has been molasses slow this whole weekend.

I don't think I've ever had a jewelry category show in my store. I just assumed it was because I only had a couple of items...

I was wondering if there was a threshold of items, but then I've checked some of my categories and they had only one item in them. I'm really baffled.

OK, they got back to me today.

Thanks sunsetpainter. Sounds like a generic answer, but this makes me wonder if it's not browser/device dependent and actually others ARE seeing these categories to shop.

LOL-I got the same message this morning since I have been unable to get into Posh to list. And Mercari also sent essentially the same thing.

I thought it sounded canned too. I don't know what's going on there. I list on my desktop computer and it wouldn't let me list at all this afternoon. I uninstalled then reinstalled the Posh app on my phone, had a moment of panic when I couldn't remember the password, and then everything worked again. But the categories on the drop-down are still missing.

My cell has all of the Men's categories, but my desktop only has shirts, also.

I can't find categories at all on my cell save for markets - it's not much better than eBay's mobile app which I really hate using save for the very simplest operations.
