Thinking about @shopafrolic 's following ideas I was checking out posh party hosts. I came across this one. Look at her following numbers. How does someone do this? poshmark.com/closet/theamandaweissOh, I think I just realized when I looked at her 'meet the posher' - she works on the marketing team at Poshmark. Humph. |

I was wondering about some of those hosts. Several of them are on a lot of parties. And I am wondering about the hosts who are on vacation, or have everything sold.
Another thought.... the men who just have their pics and nothing else...do they think Posh is a dating site???
Chap-question please.....how do you have 2 pics of an item in one pic? I have been chosen a few times as a host pick, and would like to have the words "host pick" vertically beside the item. No idea how to do that.
I use Photoshop, and can't even figure out how to do layering. Some sellers layer "host pick" over their picture. Both of those are beyond my feeble brain.

I ran across a seller earlier that had like 150 listings and had over half of them as "host picked".
I've been following all day and can't get to 5,000 following back.

Look for the collage feature on in your software - that's how I stitch my photos. What you do for the overlay is you can use a watermark feature, or just create another layer with just that bit of information on it, or use Picassa and use text (not as fancy but quicker). You can also try Canva - I haven't used it much because I make my own banners, etc., with just software I have, but people really like it. deltas*delights - it took me ages to get to 5000, less time to get to 10,000 but after that, I gained 1500 followers in under a week. So I think it's the snowball effect. I just share three times a day about, when I get around to it. |

As for that seller - look at the proportions of her numbers, though - how does she get that many followers without a load of sharing? That's what confused me.

She (and many others who host all the time) are Posh employees. I wouldn't be surprised if new users are set up to follow them automatically. Kind of like us, being Posh Ambassadors, but on much bigger scale.
