I have all of these people creating bundles. Right now for the holidays I'm offering 20% off bundles of 3 items and more. So far no one has taken any of my offers. One person sounded a bit annoyed that one of her items from the bundle was gone (it sold elsewhere).
Do poshers just treat the bundle option as kind of a 'holding area'?

I have had the same deal since I started on there....20% off 3 items. So far only one buyer took advantage of it.
It has been awhile since anyone bought from me through a bundle. But I am happy since I finally made a sale last night!!! I had a Lafayette 148 jacket listed for $55, and she offered $50. Worked for me!

I have bunches of peoples creating bundles with just one item. Are they expecting an offer from me?

Yes, the one-item bundle - huh?

I get a lot of those. I give them an offer, never hear from them. They after the waiting period is over, I am supposed to make another offer. But them I have forgotten what my first offer was. So I wait a few days, and then remove the item from the single bundle. I don't have time to play games.

I finally blocked someone who kept creating bundles of the same items and making ridiculous offers. Bundle after bundle, or she would just put the things in bundles and leave them there - always my most expensive items. I got so tired of it I finally blocked her, and I don't block very many people anywhere.

I sold one bundle of six items. Most of my bundles are single items and they want to see how low you'll go. I also don't know why people like so many things and they tend not to buy if you make a private offer-again, how low you'll go-I did sell something this evening through a discount for likers. I don't want to look at most of my stuff anymore-it was a vintage coat and I gave up on Etsy so was glad to see it sold-even though it was a low price.

I'm moving stuff off Etsy - I had great sales there for over two years and was primed to increase sales the third year, then Josh came along with his free shipping obsession and I doubt I even get seen. I was listing an old velvet maxi coat and had put in reasonable shipping, then was re-thinking of cooperating with the free shipping schtick when up popped YOU ARE CHARGING TOO MUCH FOR SHIPPING (the coat weighs 5 lb and I was undercharging) and I just said f*** You, Josh and charged normal reasonable shipping. Pardon my Gaul.

Hi Chapeaunior;)
IDK who Josh is but I do know Etsy went down the tubes for me quickly after I started two years ago. A few months ago, I typed in a Google search for a specific "commercial" facial mask I use-it came up on Etsy as a custom-made item? Because they split up a mutli pack of this particular item, it became "artesian?" The site is skewed and a relic of its former module since its overrun.

Josh Silverman is the new Etsy CEO - he's the one with the obsession with free shipping, dropped the gates to let in mass manufacturing, etc. He's from eBay and sounds a bit eBay ditzy, though actually made some good structural changes. Unfortunately, he's also emphasizing cheap, easily replicated items that can be personalized and shipped for free - kind of a fancy wish.com. He also calls the vintage component a 'distinguisher' - meaning it's just an add-on.
ETA: My last two items I purchased on Etsy were drop shipped from China. 'nuff said.
