I'm participating in the big 'clear out' contest thing today and just marked down a bunch of my closet.
Does one ever get more than one offer on an item? If so, what criteria do you use to chose which one (if they have the same time stamp?) Or can there only be one offer?
Thanks!

I’ve never had offers of the same amount on an item, so obviously I’ve always taken the highest one. If they were the same amount I’d either take the first one or counteroffer both and the first to accept gets it.

OK - thank you! I've never participated in one of these campaigns so was not sure what to expect. So far one thing has sold. I haven't participated in one of those closet cleaning deals yet - this is an offer to likers campaign.

I hope you win. I am not a big fan of offer to likers because I don’t like that it includes me paying the shipping discount. I might do a few tonight though.

I only had time to make about 6 offers this afternoon and did sell one thing. The last closet clean out deal thing I sold 3 things. Not a lot in the grand scheme of life but ok for me!

So torn LOL I need a long robe, because it's so cold in my house in the morning when I wake up. On the other hand, we are likely moving to VA in winter, where it won't be cold Decisions, decisions. People will only get more than 1 offer if you second/third/etc offer is lower than the previous one. I wanted to win so bad during the last contest. I waited until 2 am in the morning and sent offers on all (over 400) items I had in my closet, because I figured not too many people will be up sending offers at that time. Took me over 1 hour. Didn't win Sold 2 things though.

So far I've sold two things on this likers campaign - I sent offers on 61 items (I have likers on probably 70 items). I know what you mean about the shipping cost, too, kat, but I'm really needing to keep churning things. Interestingly, both items I've sold on this campaign so far have been no-name ones - a velvet djellaba and a kimono jacket; I have no idea who made the kimono jacket, and I'd guess the djellaba is from somewhere in the subcontinent due to the embroidery style. I'm listing some Kashmiri embroidered stuff soon.

It's not 100% decided still. Basically, my best friend will be a chief research director of a new plant and she offered to hire my wife, who has a PhD in Theoretical Physics. Nepotism much, I know. My friend is 100% on board, we are just waiting for some other director to sign an offer for my wife and bunch of other people. If everything works out, we're gonna move and I will finally be able to freaking relax and not pull my hair put because of the poor sales.
