I'm going through the list of boardies daily and share some. Posh has been really good to me for the past week or so. Look, it REALLY matters when you share/follow, and not just your stuff. Before I was kinda slacking, all I did was share my own stuff once a day, twice tops, i averaged 1 sale a day. Here's what my regiment looks like, I spend probably an hour-hours and a half a day doing it all, I usually listed to podcasts anyways, so... 1) I share my own closet entirely three times a day 2) Couple times a day I'll time 15 minutes and just share-share-share from the feed. 3) I select one high-volume seller a day and follow all their followers that show. 4) I return shares/follows from the past couple hours twice a day @makinmagic When you share, do you share to your followers, Twitter, Facebook, etc., or a mix?

Just followers. And parties if it's relevant.

Another question, please. How do I get the "make offer" thing on my listings?

All your listings have make offer. You just don't see it when you view your own.

Thanks! I was wondering why mine looked different!

I do similar as Makin but not as consistent. I share my closet at least twice a day. I have under 100 live listings but seem to sell one or more daily. I do take a sacrificial lowball offer if its been slow since I hear like eBay, Posh likes selling activity.
I RSVP to parties even if I'm not going to be on and follow the hosts. (I follow the hosts because a lot of others say they always follow the followers of hosts.) I pick a few things daily in my closet that don't have much love. I will drill down to the size, brand and type and follow the likers on those listings, live and sold. Last night I did that with some smaller size clogs and they sold this morning. I always try to reciprocate shares. I mix up my closet a bit before re-sharing and while I'm in their closet it easy to share three or four. When they look at mine, I have different items at the top of the closet so they might share more of mine because they don't recognize they already did.

Thanks for the advice makin! I am going to have to rethink my eBay listing. When I list new stuff on eBay, I always start the item at auction since it seems to get better placement. Can you think of a reason why I shouldn't list something on auction on eBay and also on Posh? It seems that it would be better to delete a sale on Posh, and let the bid stand on eBay? I've been doing ebay auctions too just to get rid of sh!t and i usually edit the posh availability to unavailable once i get a bid and delete after it's paid.

Another question, please. I have been sharing my Posh stuff to Twitter. So what happens if someone on Twitter wants to buy my item? Will I see that question on Twitter? (still trying to figure it out) Does that sale go through Posh or Twitter?

They'll click on the twitter entry and it'll go to Posh.

I started out doing pretty well on Posh. Like a sale a day for 5 days with only about 50 items listed. I haven't had one in like 2 weeks now. I have a few more items to list then my well will be dry!
Off now to make sure I am following all of you.

I have a question. I have seen closets that have their little pic and bio as the first one you see. How do you pin it there?

Do you mean the Meet The Posher? You can share it last to keep it up top. I rarely read someone's Meet The Posher. I usually tap the circle on the upper left or the about button. That shows me as a buyer how quickly they ship and I can see their love notes. As a seller I can see how often they buy (if they leave a note) and what price range. On a side note, I'm looking at your closet right now and it shows zero shares. You have some of your own things at the bottom that you haven't shared since Aug. 16th. That probably explains the drop in sales. I recommend you share your closet at least once a day at the minimum and reciprocate as many shares as time allows.

kat Does the "shares" count include your own or just others items that you've shared?

I’m pretty sure it’s just others.

Question again. Someone seems to have a bundle of my 3 Catherine's top, although one of them has just sold. What do I do with that info? Are they waiting for me to do something?
Oh wait-I just saw the "View Offer" when I scrolled down, so I lowered the price a bit. I think I did it right.

I sold all 3 of my LV bags there this week and everything was sold when I made an offer to the people who like the item. Something to keep in mind.

I saw the 0 shares and don't know what it means.

The only way I know how to share my closet is one item at a time. I don't know how people do that with 500 items. I did some research and didn't come up with any alternative means.
I'm sharing everyone's items here every day.

I'm lost. No surprise there. I pretty much consistently share (or did till I got sick, started back last night). I've always shared to twitter. Since that didn't make my share count go up, I just shared to my facebook followers, about 50 items. That didn't make my share count go up either. What am I doing wrong?

There isn’t a way to share your entire closet unless you’re sending it to Twitter, etc. if you’re sharing others, then your counter must be broken. Whenever you share your item it goes to the front. Imagine a huge store with infinite racks. Everyone else comes along and puts their stuff in front of yours every second. When you share, it’s like you moving your stuff from the back of the rack to the front where the shoppers are. It doesn’t take long to end up back at the end because everyone else is constantly adding new thing or moving to the front. So sharing others is like grabbing a couple other things on your way up front. They do the same for you and so on...

Someone else uses a virtual assistant but that’s scary to give someone access to your account.

I finally DID it! Listed my first 3 things on Poshmark. Yipeeeeee!
Listing is easy......... it's just that my new smart phone has a dumb owner ... so I am learning (slowly) the phone.. and Poshmark as I go along!
Hope to be following y'all real soon! Now I have to learn about the posh parties!

I just followed you and shared all of your items, Cindy. It's a lot easier for me to just use the web app - I only use the mobile if I need to fiddle with my account settings.
I'm chugging away and have sold only 3 items, but TBH, I'm surprised to have sold any at all, so it's all good.
The other day I came across someone with over 5 million following - is that even possible?

I just realized (and now I remember reading this) that the $6.49 PR label they send is up to 5 lbs! Talk about a good deal with the PO.
