Wow, your closet is HUGE. And you have tons of followers. May I ask a few questions? How long have you been actively doing Posh? And how are your sales there? My goal is 100K followers by the end of the year, I am engaging like crazy there.

I followed anyone that I wasn't already following and shared everyone's closets. This was a good idea Makin!

I don't share as much as I should though. :/ I'm trying to hit 100k followers by year end too

Is that you in your Poshmark avatar? My gosh! You look just like my sister! Awww. Yes. That’s me in 1986 playing dress up in my best friend’s moms closet. I don’t look like that now. There’s a current picture of me on the eBay Open thread that Liz posted.

I wish I could make half of ebay in sales there. Maybe I am overpricing stuff (to account for offers) too much.

I also came across chicagoluxe (Emily) by chance once. She uses the same id.

I started out pricing way too high, but I've found most buyers are happy with a 20-25% or so discount so for most items I tack on about $5-$10 over my eBay pricing.

That bag sold in less than 24 hours. I expect I wont be so lucky like that again. Sadly none of that money is mine. I am selling my SIL's collection. But I did decde to list some of my unused bags and high end stuff that I dont want to send to Thredup. It is fairly easy to list there.

Following you! BTW, I read the comments on your LV Keepall 55 -- you can always create a new listing to show additional photos of an item, rather than emailing them to someone (just mark it as NOT FOR SALE and put "ADDITIONAL PHOTOS OF LV KEEPALL" in the title). It's kind of a common scam for people to ask you to transact off Poshmark ("please text photos / send to my email").

I'm going through the list of boardies daily and share some. Posh has been really good to me for the past week or so. Look, it REALLY matters when you share/follow, and not just your stuff. Before I was kinda slacking, all I did was share my own stuff once a day, twice tops, i averaged 1 sale a day. Here's what my regiment looks like, I spend probably an hour-hours and a half a day doing it all, I usually listed to podcasts anyways, so... 1) I share my own closet entirely three times a day 2) Couple times a day I'll time 15 minutes and just share-share-share from the feed. 3) I select one high-volume seller a day and follow all their followers that show. 4) I return shares/follows from the past couple hours twice a day

Thanks for this @makinmagic. I'm trying to find the most efficient way to participate. Right now I'm just going through my newsfeed following everyone who is following me, making sure I share three of their items when I do so, particularly the ones where they're advertising some kind of special.
I looked online for an efficient way to share an entire closet, but it appears to be just a listing at a time thing.
::insomniac city here - it's after 1 a.m. - I usually don't have problems sleeping.

Thanks for the advice makin!
I am going to have to rethink my eBay listing. When I list new stuff on eBay, I always start the item at auction since it seems to get better placement. Can you think of a reason why I shouldn't list something on auction on eBay and also on Posh?
It seems that it would be better to delete a sale on Posh, and let the bid stand on eBay?

I think it's fine. You can just delete an item on Posh if it receives a bid on ebay. I am running bunch of auctions right now (stale stuff), most of them are listed on Posh.
